The vocal development of an opera singer moved by the desire to enter the great opera stages poses significant external and subjective challenges. The artist experiencing the desire to embody the different roles can arrive, in many cases, to uncomfortable feelings that disturb his innermost being. Opera encompasses different artistic areas: music, theater, symbolic representation, dance, literature, and visual arts through scenery and costumes. All of them come together in an opera performance. Sometimes artists can arrive at significant insights through the in depth study of a particular opera role. To deal with the complexities this career poses, The Opera Atelier offers opera singers a space of coaching and psychoanalysis that delivers professional orientation from the starting point of their individual experience, strengthening their artistic development.
