This new opera by Daniel Daroca honors Mercedes Jaruco, Countess Merlin, the Cuban-French writer who wrote "Voyage to Cuba", Countess Merlin was considered the"queen of Parisian salons". Sandra Lopez stars as Mercedes, the distinguished writer and singer, as she travels to Cuba in to reconnect with her Cuban roots.
